It's still theoretically possible to hook up xrandr to mutter for
Wayland sessions. I think...

But I am happy to say "Won't Fix".

Bug description:
  Using xrandr to turn screen when switching to tablet mode on laptop
  (using different orientation).

  This not working when on wayland

  xrandr -o normal
  xrandr -o inverted
