Torsten,

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all
reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago
and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an
issue? Can this bug report now be closed?

If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in
approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.

Title:
  Cannot leave fullscreen mode

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When using Chromium in fullscreen mode and pressing F11, the menu
canvas (tabs, URL line, bookmarks etc) are not restored. Instead, you
only see the HTML page, rendering chromium unusable. One has to
  restart it.

This is partly a regression, because until one week ago, there was a
workaround by moving the mouse to the window top and clicking on
"leaving fullscreen mode". This feature was switched off in a recent
update, so you have to press F11 -- which does not work.
