Anthony, We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and advised that the issue resolved itself back in 2012.
We're now closing this report as being "Invalid" as the cause of the problem was never confirmed. Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better. Paul White [Ubuntu Bug Squad] ** Changed in: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1057922 Title: bottom inch of chromium does not appear when new window is opened and starts off maximized Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: I have tested with gnome-terminal, evince, firefox and nautilus; the bug seems to be chromium specific. This is what I have to do to reproduce the issue with no chromium windows open on my desktop. 1. Open one maximized chromium window 2. Press ctrl+n to open a second maximized chromium window A small portion of the second window's bottom does not render, showing whatever is behind it. That being said, a picture is worth a thousand words: http://umcs.maine.edu/~naddeoa/chromium-bug.png You can see in the screenshot (also submitted as an attachment) that my desktop shows through the bottom of the second maximized chromium window. I noticed this a few weeks ago but didn't have time to report it; it definitely was not like this when I first installed 12.04. I'm not sure what information you would want from me that you didn't get from ubuntu-bug, but please feel free to ask, and sorry in advance if I left out something obvious.
