This is probably not a gnome-screensaver bug: gnome-screensaver knows
not to show the screensaver only if any app tells it not to. For
example, VLC was fixed in bug 1080847. So this bug report is incomplete
without steps to reproduce, because without those, we can’t tell which
app is failing to send the appropriate signal.

Title:
screensaver turns on while watching youtube video
Status in gnome-screensaver package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Screensaver on laptop turns on while watching youtube videos and
laptop is on battery power. It doesn't matter if video is fullscreen
or not. Screen saver turns itself on. This shouldn't happen. If video
is playing it means someone is using the screen. It doesn't happen in
windows. i also didn't see this happening on desktop Kubuntu install.
i have not yet tested media players such as VLC to see if it also
happens there.
Hardware: HP dm1 with E-450 APU (using proprietary AMD drivers), 2 GB
RAM, Kubuntu 64bit 13.04 (all updates applied, vanilla install)
