This is probably not a gnome-screensaver bug: gnome-screensaver knows
not to show the screensaver only if any app tells it not to. So this bug
report is incomplete without steps to reproduce, because without those,
we can’t tell which app is failing to send the appropriate signal.

  Ubuntu should not lock screen when I watch a long video

Status in gnome-screensaver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When a video is playing (youtube or a movie), ubuntu should not
  consider the period as inactive and lock screen (as specified in the
  "System Settings - > Brightness and Lock -> Turn screen off when
  inactive for: " setting).
