Title:
[i855] cant Enable Effects in 10.04. (Can in older ver) Intel chip
  Pavilion ze4900

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

Im not sure what the main issue is. I think maybe driver related.

I been having a run of bad luck with ubuntu and other distros on my
  Pavilion ze4900.

On 9.04 It all works but appears to glitch out when effects are enabled. but
they do enable.
On 9.10 its all pretty and effects enable without issues. but wireless just
wont work correctly. it activates but never appears to see any networks.

on 10.04 wireless works again. but no effects at all and its causing other
bugs like laggy high quilty video playback. i try to enable.
search for driver but appears to fail.

maybe im using the wrong search terms but cant find a answer that
works. its always something i really want or need that breaks back and
forth like a tennis ball between each version that put out. wireless,
then video, wireless then video. appears to be a big feet of
engineering. i hate things with Intel in them. they always get crappy
  support. -.-

any clues to make it all work correctly at onces?
