It's a conflict between the libGL provided by nvidia for their
acceleration and the one required by Intel for its. The two are
incompatible and mutually exclusive. In a few years, we may have a new
OpenGL ABI that allows for parallel installation of multiple libGL...

Title:
failed to run the graphic acceleration on intel corporation mobile 4,
  i915

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

the acceleration does not work. the system is on a removable hdd usb drive.
on nvidia computers, the acceleration works well. on intel-based graphic
systems, I am failing to run the acceleration. I tried to put ..."AccelMethod"
"uxa".... into the xorg.conf file, but without any change. Also removing the
xorg.conf file does not help running the acceleration. The system works well
and is operational and full functional except all programs requiring the
graphic acceleration.
  thnx
