I upgradet to 12.10 and the problem repeated!!! After EVERY NEW UPGRADE for the last few years, I am having this problem!!!
WHY IT'S SO COMPLICATED TO SOLVED A RIDICULOUS PROBLEM of keyboard layout icon? I am heavy on Writer, so CANNOT WORK without keyboard indicator. What should I do? Go back to Windows/Word? If Ubuntu lost us, the heavy users, they will get nothing with kids and games. This is not game. THIS IS SERIOUS!!! We are using Ubuntu for serious work.
