Public bug reported:

I tried several ways to turn off the most annoying "feature" ever, Window
Snapping.
It used to be easy, and could be disabled in the System Settings, under
multi-talking.

That has been removed.

I tried disabling the extension, renaming, deleting, nothing would disable it!
The old gsettings that turned it off no longer work.

I finally found a way, so it needs to be put back in the system
preferences:

gsettings set org.gnome.mutter edge-tiling false
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter attach-modal-dialogs false
gsettings set org.gnome.shell.overrides edge-tiling false

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
