Public bug reported: I noticed that PreLogin and PostSession scripts don't work anymore when testing the 26.04/resolute daily build.
This is caused by the fact that the functionality was removed upstream in X11 cleanup work. However, these scripts are used and required in Wayland as well. I created https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gdm/-/issues/1059 upstream for this. Is there an existing alternative to PreLogin and PostSession? If not, I respectfully request that the removal be reverted and the functionality restored. PreLogin and PostSession scripts are very important in corporate environments.
