I was forgetting there is another way, which I used myself quite recently, and which avoids getting to grips with the Score Layout window. What you do is to add two staffs with music mirroring the staffs you want in your print out. You give both of these the same part name (say "Duetto") and then put the cursor in one of them and click Part. If you also want to print the full score then you will need to make these two staffs Non Printing (*), and make that Non Printing directive be ignored for the "Duetto" score layout. To do that, typeset the Duetto layout and then in the Staff Properties Editor under the "Non Printing" directive click "Conditional" and choose Ignore for the Layout for Part "Duetto". In fact, I think there may be yet another way using selections... I'll look into that...
