Does the H8/300 now have long long support or does setting no_long_long
to a false value mean something else? Either way, there needs to be an
explanation here.
Yes, gcc for the H8/300 family has supported long long type at least
since 2012, i.e. I verified this using KPIT GNU TOOLS 12.02 from that
year (a gcc-4.7 based toolchain, the oldest one I have). The
no_long_long flag appears to be a leftover from very early versions.
Where exactly do you expect an explanation? Is the information above
sufficient?
