Thanks for your response Michel.

I see this on my system:

root@orwell:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# dpkg -l | grep libwayland-client
ii  libwayland-client0:amd64                         1.24.0-2+b1
               amd64 wayland compositor infrastructure - client library
ii  libwayland-client0:i386                          1.24.0-2+b1
               i386 wayland compositor infrastructure - client library

and also:

root@orwell:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu# ls -la libwayland-client.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    22 Aug 16 11:22 libwayland-client.so ->
libwayland-client.so.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    27 Aug 16 11:22 libwayland-client.so.0 ->
libwayland-client.so.0.24.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 77200 Aug 16 11:22 libwayland-client.so.0.24.0

Which looks like that library was upgraded on 16th August.

Finally:

root@orwell:/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu# ldd
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libvulkan_radeon.so | grep wayland
        libwayland-client.so.0 =>
/opt/amdgpu/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libwayland-client.so.0 (0x00007f4686c19000)

(apologies for the direct reply earlier)

Regards,
Andrew McMillan
