Yes, this is definitely helpful for us. I hadn't done any work on the actual 
blender package - I had just been talking to [email protected] in a separate 
thread, and he mentioned that packaging minizip-ng would unblock him, so that's 
what I did. (although I haven't heard from him since then). 


Are you planning to submit the new blender version to Debian already?

Hi. Did you make progress with updating blender?



I was also looking into building blender 4.5.3. I mananged to get it

to build after adding minizip-ng and updating opencolorio.
