No, seriously, some obvious mistakes:
* There's no .diff.gz file. Just make sure the original tar.gz file
is available in .. before you call dpkg-buildpakcage

Yup. Tested this out on woody, sarge and sid and got
them down to what I could. The 0.5 release is looking
worse.
