don't know as i don't have any of that here, but these things come to mind: check the bios of the machine and see if they have a switch off for it. remove the card if there is one installed in the laptop. remove the kernel modules (after every upgrade). > How do I disable Bluetooth? i removed all packages that have blue in their names. i have no idea if this works, but i also don't have any bluetooth devices anywhere attached other than my camera and i never got it to connect nor did i care to figure it out (someday i may have to if this wired plugin cable connection goes on the fritz, but so far it hasn't been showing any signs of that happening). my one attempt to get bluetooth to work with a device here was with the stereo in the other room and the dingle/ dongle i got that was supposed to work wasn't detected and it didn't detect anything else either so i removed it and went on my way (i didn't care about moving the stereo to see if it was the distance or move the computer to see if that would help - it just wasn't that important to me to deal with it further). songbird
