If your primary goal is to fix the scrollbar thing in LO, this avenue is almost certainly a waste of your time. Can you describe your problem with more detail? What do you mean by "scrollbar icon"? Is the whole scrollbar missing? Does your problem look like this: https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/how-to-get-the-scrollbar-arrows-to-display-in-libreoffice-calc/61459 i.e. this person misses the scrollbar's end arrows?
