Neither one was helpful, probably because neither addresses my specific case (Network Manager, not /etc/network/interfaces) and bridging (I think) between the virtual network and the wireless interface. This may be because I don't know enough. In the past installing virt manager was sufficient; the virtual network Just Worked.
