In short, 550 for GeForce 700 and newer, which I think includes the GTX
960M.
I tried the 550 version but am having some issues with my display
(high-dpi) on my laptop; steam games launching in wrong resolution
and displaying in the most weird ways. I am on Gnome, Wayland.
If I were you I would try X and see if that resolved the problems.
