Hi. I experience problems with logging out from KDE / Plasma. I just installed a fresh Trixie from the KDE Live image using Calamares, all defaults except keyboard layout.
sddm arrives after boot. If I log in normally on Plasma + Wayland and then logout, I get back to sddm immediately (less than three seconds). On the other hand, if I do the same on Plasma + X11, it takes 25 seconds: 15 seconds where the desktop is still running, 10 seconds where some features of the window manager are still active, and only then do I get back to sddm. The problem stays the same when I replace sddm with lightdm. The problem does not happen if I replace KDE / Plasma with fvwm. The roundness and consistency of the delays, 15 seconds and 20 seconds, seem to indicate something waiting a timeout. Does anybody experience the same issue? Did anybody manage to fix it?
