I have a Raspberry Pi running Nextcloud and so have my important data both on the Raspberry Pi and on two computers which sync with it. The Nextcloud instance also does an rsync to a drive connected to my router and also creates BTRFS snapshots on a further external drive. Just for backup up it is probably overkill and was a bit of a faff to set up. However, it works well for me and the backup aspect was actually my main motivation for doing in.
