As far as I'm aware no one has ever been able to replicate the problems
you are having and we're not even sure if this is the root cause, so
it's fairly unlikely that any behaviour will change with the next
release except by chance.

It may be worth trying out a pre-release install of it to find out for
sure, before pinning a lot of hope on that.

That will get tested when I install trixie on the first of my cnc'd machines.  Warmer weather projects as the 1st will probably be "tlm", so named as The Little Monster by the folks on the emc-user list. Colder weather caught me in the middle of adding machine power control to it and there's only enough heat in that uninsulated building to keep it above the dew point. Being a DM-II, I don't work well when cold & old.. But its a thought for a starting point Andy, thanks.
