Apart from not knowing what you mean by legitimacy, that makes things easier. Just type: $ xzgv /usr/share/icons/mate/48x48/apps (install xzgv if you don't already have it) and keep on pressing the following keys in any order: <space>, b, and z, and choosing whichever is "_suitable_" and "appropriate" for whatever. > Thanks for trying.
