Could be one of the following: - Network topology - Network conjestion - Router not strong enough to handle the load (look at the web interface of the said router) - Wifi interference (maybe changing channel) - Wifi signal not strong enough If it is a router supply by the ISP, it could be that the wireless is shared. Are you having the same issue using a cable? Is the issue only manifesting itself for SSH? In my case and if I have the choise, I use my own router behind a Modem or use the ISP stuff in bridge mode. -- John Doe
