I'm not sure that I can think of a better way than downloading the packages by hand and installing them directly using dpkg. :-/ Can you readily identify the packages that are different versions than what's in unstable? You can directly download the packages from your favorite Debian mirror; this is easier if there are a small number of them, of course.
