No big deal for a guitarist. It's similar to a index finger barré followed by something similar to a C like non-barré. But that's exactly the point, wasting brain capacity with tons of non-intuitive short cuts and to train the fingers for no good reason. Using a GUI editor with a good mouse doesn't cause any issues and can be done completely intuitive.
