Neither Dovecot not fetchmail deliver mail to local mailboxes. Take a
look at your MTA (Exim, Postfix) configuration to see what's happening.
I couldn't figure out what was happening by looking at the Exim4
configuration files. I ran
dpkg-reconfigure exim4 and that seems to have fixed the problem.
Maybe you forgot to install and configure procmail?
I have never used Procmail.
