I want to mount a Reiser partition on a directory in a users home. I want to use it for audio work. My system is Debian unstable.
I have created the partition, re-booted, mkfs.reiser. I have created the directory (as user), but whatever I have tried in /etc/fstab I cannot write to the directory as normal user, only as root. As soon as I mount the partition, the directory changes to belonging to root. It does so, even if I give the *user* the right to mount the partition and mount it as user. /etc/fstab: (I have tried many other options also) /dev/hdd10 /home/debian/REISER reiserfs noauto, user,rw 0 0 What am I doing wrong?
