>>> What's the simplest way to get ia32-libs back? > Anyone knows how long will it take for the transition to finish?
it seems ia32-libs has been updated to version 18 (??). from http://packages.debian.org/sid/ia32-libs : This is a transitional package that depends on a set of core libraries for the ia32/i386 architecture, configured for use on an amd64 or ia64 Debian system running a 64-bit kernel. This is just a dummy package, part one of the transition, that will be replaced once ia32-apt-get is installed. You need to run apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade again to get part two. i haven't upgraded yet, since i don't know what the above explanation means... so... is it usable now? is the transition finished? to anyone who upgraded today: is it working now? thanks all -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
