You can try to use apt-move to convert the cache of packages into a local archive structure and add this archive to your sources.list. Your package manager might then be able to carry out the necessary downgrades and resolve the dependencies (a bit of manual prodding and fixing will probably still be necessary). This will only work if all old dependencies are available in your cache, of course.
