My first try at web page design. Installed Apache2, tried http://dragon.zoo/index.html and it worked. Created an html file:
<html><body> <h1>Weekday Skiers</h1> <img scr="/data/Scratch/47cc75e.jpg" width="500" height="300" /> <a href="http://www.cnn.com">CNN</a> </body></html> and got a gray 300x500 box. Clearly I need to pose this question to a more apropriate user group but which one - iceape, apache2, html? A google search turned up helpful articles on html but no suggestion that photographs could be a problem. I will keep searching on Monday but must take tomorrow off. If, in the meantime, anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Tom -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
