Exactly. There have been a number of cases where things moved from XEmacs to Emacs when it was feasible to get copyright assignments, and I know a number of the main XEmacs maintainers have signed papers. It's just not always feasible to do so. And in some cases, even if it would be feasible to do so, the implementation would be so much different than the implementation in Emacs that it needs to be rewritten anyway (ie, internal redisplay stuff). -- Alan Shutko <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - I am the rocks.
