I have my standard "workstation/play machine" /etc/apt/sources.list posted. I run experimental mostly. Even on my Wife's and my kid's computers (2 kids - 2 computers) and my Firewall and my "OGG" server / file-server. Here is the location of it: http://www.gregfolkert.net/files/sources.list I guarantee you'll be happy with that set. A Bit of an explanation as well at the top of it. Just remember YMMV. I am very cautious about upgrades and dist-upgrade (of which I do daily) If things look dodgy to me, I look at WHY a package is to be removed... I really don't care about NEW installs or upgrades just the removes... which usually means KEY packages are missing or not yet submitted. I am usually able to side step MOST problems without fsck'ing up GNOME or KDE (which I don't use KDE typically). Just remember the APT is strong with you... use it wisely... -- greg, [EMAIL PROTECTED] REMEMBER ED CURRY! http://www.iwethey.org/ed_curry Your dandruff falls like the fixtures within a scenic railway passing through a thousand bearded rainbows...
