iPods on Linux are a problem but I have got mine working with gtkpod after some effort. Unfortunately the gtkpod interface is not exactly intuitive so I went back to the dreaded iTunes. I keep a minimal install of XP purely to sync my iPods That said, you need to create a mount point for the iPod and get gtkpod to create the directory structure. It took me several tries to get it working and it was not at all consistent. The gtkpod documentation is not exactly helpful either. Sorry to be so negative. Perhaps someone else has had more success. Regards, Joe. -- Barometer,n.
