Allow @LOCAL is important in your serverconfig /etc/init.s/cupsd.conf as
well!

And again /etc/init.d/cupsys restart on the server.

Added that. Still get the same error message though. And the printer/server
doesn't show up in my Add Printer dialog.

Could you send me via PM a tarball with:

/etc/cups/client.conf from MAC
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf from Server
Hostname.fqdn Server
ip Server (if ist's static)

I'll try my best then.....

No, I have no way of making a 'tarball' I can zip it though.

Where/what's the 'Hostname.fqdn'?
