please don't top-post.

you may have to remap the drives for windows. It doesn't like being on
anything but the first partition of the first drive (kind of a prima
dona that way...). 

map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0) 

in the stanza for booting windows would fool it into thinking it was
on the first hd.
