His name is listed as the Ubunutu and the Debian Maintainer on Wine HQ's website. I have no idea why they think he is the DD. In any event, they claim that the Ubuntu packages don't work with Sid. I just got back from installing a system for a friend, and installed wine and it worked with no trouble at all. But, I put Linux Mint on her machine, so it's not a wonder that the Ubuntu package worked. Why did I put Mint on her machine instead of Debian? Because she's a clueless person who has no idea how a computer works and cannot handle updates and just wants stuff to work. I didn't feel like supporting her, so I let the Mint community do it. It's almost Debian anyway, and she needed a working Wine. Her Moraff's Majongh works just fine.
