The problem occured because of a program named keytouch It placed a file which generated an error with message: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/39keytouch-acpid: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `;' The message was taken from the .xsession-errors file. I uninstalled the program and removed 2 configuration files in the /etc/X11/Xsession.d/ which where placed by the program -- Three words describe our society:homo homini lupus
