I tried to change the XTerm colors by putting these lines in my ~/.Xresources file: XTerm*Background: black XTerm*Foreground: white
But it has no effect. Anyone know what the problem is? According to XTerm manual, this should work. Oh, and I tried changing the names (Background to background etc. No effect). -- John L.
