Hi Benjamin, First, be sure to CC the list on all replies to this thread. /media is ordinarily the *mount point* for the CD-ROM; it's not the place where the actual device file is kept. Try doing grep -i cdrom /etc/fstab and send us the results. That will probably list the device node that corresponds to your CD-ROM drive. -- Stephen R.
