The .bin file is a compatable installer script. The install instructions (right below the big button) are slightly flawed, they don't seem to mention you need root to install. $ sudo ./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin When it prompts for a path, I use /usr/local/RealPlayer When it asks for 'configure system wide symlinks' I hit 'Y'.
