In all the posts i have seen so far there hasn't been a suggestion for Option "Buttons" "5"
this is what i have for my mouse:
when i type gpmconfig i get
Device: /dev/psaux
Type: imps2
Repeat_Type: raw
and in XF86Config-4
Selection "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/gpmdata"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Buttons" "5"
all of this works well for me in that combination.
