I don't know about your mouse problem, but what kernel are you running? If you happen to be running the debian dist 2.2.20, you probably don't have the i810 driver in your kernel. This module was enabled in the debian 2.2.19, but mysteriously disappeared in 2.2.20 (and it appears i forgot to submit this as a formal bug report...). I haven't followed this thread very closely, so maybe i'm on crack. But i had this i810 problem. tyler
