Is the disk really vfat? Does 'mount' say it is mounted as vfat? What does windows see it as? I wouldn't be surprised if you lost the case of the name (neither vfat nor msdos is case-sensitive). -D -- It took the computational power of three Commodore 64s to fly to the moon. It takes at least a 486 to run Windows 95. Something is wrong here.
