Hi, after doing an update on my woody system today, X wouldn't start anymore, complaining about the fixed font missing. A forced reinstall of xfonts-base solved the problem.
Is anyone aware of a packet that messes with fonts? My first guess was libgdkxft0, but with a --purge and reinstall the problem was non-reproducible.... I think I remember a similar problem being discussed related to unstable not very long ago, could it be that the bug has now propagated into testing? regards, Volker
