I've been getting messages on bootup for last few months saying "you almost certainly don't want to be running kerneld". I'm running 2.2.17 and from what I've read that's true: I don't want to be running kerneld. But I have no idea how to change this. Do I need to recompile kernel? I don't recall ever choosing kerneld but I guess I must have.
