I downloaded a copy of the Linux 2.4.7 sources as a tar-gz file, and I suppose I need to install them into /usr/src. However, the tar-gz's contents are not at all indicative of that, and doing a make config just gives me a bunch of questions to set up a kernel. Do I just make a kernel from this dir I'm working from, or do the files need to be in /usr/src?
