I have noticed that gpm (woody version) will act up after a while. 'ps ax' shows that it is still running, and I can highlight text, but if I right-click, instead of the text getting pasted, either nothing happens or a different part of the screen gets highlighted. The repeated output to gpmdata still allows my mouse to work in X.
Running '/etc/init.d/gpm restart' will get it going again, but after a while the problem will repeat. Has anyone else seen this or does anybody know of a fix? Bob
