About browser. My opinion: 1) Netscape - old, don't support some modern standarts, slow rendering, bad locale support (if you care about Russian web pages for example :) ) but quite stable. 2) Mozilla - faster rendering, conforms to many modern standarts (however breaks sometimes JavaScript code on web pages), consumes more RAM and CPU then netscape (but if you have decent machine you will not care), best locale support, a bit less stable then netscape. 3) Konqeror - very, very, very fast!, conforms to many modern standartds (however breaks sometimes JavaScript code on web pages), good locale support (but worse then in mozilla), a bit less stable then mozilla and netscape.
