Sorry,

you'll have to do a 'make install' i guess, could be 'make modules' too but
darned my memory is not very up to speed t'day.

In the root of your kernel source is a document wich states all of the
necessary steps to install kernel AND modules. This information can also be
found in your howto's.

Hope this was what you ware lookin for.
Sorry not bein able to assist you further. I have no more time left for
linux. Too Bad.

ok i will try 2.4 but I am still with the same question...
I recompiled my kernel using 'make menuconfig' and in the config i asked
the PCMCIA features and others to be load as modules.  So, now that my
kernel is working I have to recompile the modules to work with that
kernel, isn'it ?
And i wondered if there was a "debian way" of compiling the modules...
